The Body and Dad

This I don't really understand. But apparently the body has to be put on to do some work and then taken off again. I don't see why you can't wait until everything is done and then put it on, but whatever. I mean, the body still has to be painted, but I trust my dad 100%. Also, I posted dad with all of his gear on...I though it looked funny.

Aluminum Paneling

The aluminum panels were fitted in place and all of the holes were drilled and it now has taken on some real shape. At first, to me it just looked like a big hunk of metal with other little pieces of metal stuck on. But now, WOW, it really is starting to look like a car.

Front Suspension and Shocks

The front suspension has been installed and the shocks as well. It took only about 5 hours. The two colors are silver and blue and they look great, don't they? There was a lot of little pieces that went into installing it.

IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE!

At 12:51 the truck from Stewart Transport rolled up and I immediately began freaking out!! First of all, because my dad wasn't home yet from work and I had to go open the garage. Second, the truck was huge and loud...I heard it for about a full 30 seconds before I saw it. Scott, the truck driver/delivery dude was great he was funny and really cool. As you can see, there was an AWESOME crane used to lift the body out of the truck onto the dolley. I have never seen something so amazing, there were 31 boxes, I, of course go to check of the boxes as they were unloaded. It still is so unreal that there is a lego car on a huge scale out in our garage!! Crazy, I know, right...but still incredibly cool. Now that it is here, my dad has to go get it powdered coated in the bright, unreal, metallic blue (like the 5 gum wrapper). It is gonna be awesome.
